yeah, plus since death isn’t a consequence there are assholes who would leave the quarantined areas the GM’s were making and just give it to more people, and even after they lost “the plague” they would try to get it again to jsut spread it to more people, causing chaos.

I read the same thing on a few sites. People in MMOs reacted roughly the same as people in past real world events, but dying ingame isn’t nearly as major as real life, so it wasn’t serious enough. It’d be a great research tool, though.
